Project Overview
Clyda Dental Clinic in Kumasi, Ghana, was running entirely on paper-based processes, managing patient files, appointment books, invoices, and stock ledgers manually. The clinic needed a modern, centralised solution that could handle everything from the front desk to the back office without complexity.
TechWaiv designed and developed the Clyda Dental Management System (CLYDA), a fully web-based platform that eliminates paperwork, reduces administrative errors, and gives clinic management real-time visibility across operations and multiple branches.

Create and manage medication prescriptions linked directly to patient records and treatment plans.
Upload and manage patient X-rays, CBCT scans, and photos with organised gallery and list views including date filters.
Generate invoices, record partial payments, and track outstanding balances. Full payment history per patient.
Track dental supplies, consumables, and instruments across branches with low-stock alerts and stock value reporting.
Revenue trends, appointment analytics, patient activity, treatment summaries, and inventory reports, all filterable by date and branch.
Manage multiple clinic branches from a single system. Filter data per branch for localised reporting and management.

Billing & Payments
The billing module allows staff to create detailed invoices for every treatment. Payments can be recorded in full or partially, with automatic tracking of outstanding balances. Invoices are categorised as Paid, Partial, or Unpaid, giving the clinic a clear view of its cash flow at all times.
Inventory Control
The inventory module tracks every dental supply, consumable, and instrument across all branches. A built-in alert system flags low-stock items instantly, and the dashboard displays total stock value in real time. Categories include Anesthetics, Consumables, Dental Materials, Instruments, Impression Materials, and Office Supplies.
